How to use it
- Open this page in Chrome on an Android phone with NFC turned on.
- Pick the material and colour. Temperatures fill in for you; adjust them to your filament’s label.
- Tap “Write tag” and hold your phone flat against a blank NTAG215 or NTAG216 sticker.
- Stick the tag on the side of the spool.
Everything happens on your phone. Nothing is sent to our servers.
OpenSpool-compatible means this page writes the open OpenSpool data format; it isn’t affiliated with the OpenSpool project. Bambu Lab’s AMS and the Snapmaker U1’s stock firmware only read their own signed tags, so these tags need an OpenSpool-compatible reader or the U1 community Extended Firmware. What works with what.
